Short bio

I received the B.S. degree in Computer Science from the Londrina State University, in 2010. After, I received the M.S. degree (2013) in Computer Science from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, where I am currently a Ph.D. Candidate under the supervision of Prof. Ph.D. Cláudio R. Jung. In the past several years, I started to dedicate my research efforts to Computer Vision and Deep Learning. More specifically, I am interested in text and object detection/recognition, Convolutional Neural Networks, Supervised and semi-supervised learning, and data augmentation. I also have experience with audio processing, which was acquired during the master's degree.
